Hacknosis: Optimizing Patient Experiences

• The contest runs from August 14th, 2023 through September 14th, 2023.

• Soon after the close of the Hackathon, a panel of experts selected by Open Text will assess you or your team’s submission in any of the five (5) challenges of the Hackathon. In each instance, the OpenText panel will consider the user experience, data presentation, and incorporation of OpenText services into you or your team’s submitted solutions.

• Based on the OpenText panel’s assessment of each of the judgement challenges, OpenText will name the top three individuals or teams in each challenge.

• The individual or team that is given 1st place in each challenge will receive a one-time payment of $5,000 for that individual or team that achieved 1st place in a challenge.

• The maximum amount that can be won under the contest is $25,000 and the minimum amount won by one individual or team is $5,000.

• There are no other prizes available and only the 1st place individual or team in a challenge will win the $5,000 prize.

• Payment for winning the contest will be made by the Prizepayments platform.

• The winning individual(s) or team(s) will be required to submit certain personal information to the platform to receive payment and will be responsible for the payment of any taxes arising from receipt of the prize money.

• If you do not agree to any of the requirements of this contest, do not enter the contest.

• Any failure by a winning individual or team to adhere to the terms and conditions of the Hackathon and the Prizepayments platform will result in that team or individual being ineligible to receive the contest prize and the 2nd place individual or team will be awarded the prize in their place (with the 3rd place individual or team receiving payment where the 2nd place individual or team is ineligible, etc).
